This Privacy Policy explains how Jeff McRae, sole proprietor, doing business as Man's Garage ("we", "us", "our"), collects, uses and protects information about people who subscribe to Man's Garage or use mans-garage.com.
We collect only what you give us on our subscription form: your first name, and — if you choose to provide them — your email address and mobile phone number. We also record the date and time of your submission, your IP address, your browser user agent, the page URL, and the exact consent language displayed to you at that moment. We keep this record as proof of the permissions you granted.
We use your information to confirm your subscription and to notify you when we publish a new guide, through the channels you explicitly agreed to, and to answer you if you contact us. We do not use it for anything else.
We will not share or sell your mobile information with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Consent to receive text messages from Man's Garage is never a condition of subscribing and never a condition of purchasing anything. You may withdraw it at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent or trade it. We share information only with service providers who operate our website, email and messaging systems on our behalf, and only to the extent they need it to perform that work. We may also disclose information where required by law.
You can opt out of text messages by replying STOP, opt out of email by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or ask us to delete your information entirely by writing to support@mans-garage.com. We honor all three immediately.
We keep your information for as long as you remain a subscriber, plus the period we are required to retain consent records. We apply reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect it.
Man's Garage is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Man's Garage does not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or third-party tracking of any kind. We do not run web analytics, advertising pixels, or session recording, and we do not build profiles of visitors. Our web host and content delivery network may set strictly necessary cookies required to serve and secure the site, and our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, page requested, timestamp, browser type) for security and troubleshooting.
